One of our favourite ways to use smoked paprika is to take inspiration from traditional Southern American cooking. In deep south cooking, smoked paprika and garlic granules are often combined to form a wonderful blend that is so utterly unique that we can’t get enough of it.
In Southern recipes, the spice blend is often added to sauces which, while not technically, are functionally a bechamel sauce - they combine a roux with some milk to form a silky white sauce. When salt, pepper, garlic granules, and smoked paprika are added, the sauce becomes something utterly different - bold, sharp, hot, and smoky! We love using our delicious smoked paprika to this end, it really enhances the food that we cook.

Paella is the dish which smoked paprika is really known for, and it enhances the meal wonderfully.
